As the name indicates, we are located on the hill called Monte do Gozo, with vistas of the city of Santiago and set amidst the Compostela countryside, in an idyllically peaceful, nature and amusement complex of 65 hectares.

Monte do Gozo is the last stop, the last halt on the St. James’s Way before reaching the Saint’s resting place. A monument dedicated to the pilgrim dominates the look-out point on Monte do Gozo. From here, a mere 40 minutes walk separates the pilgrim from the end of his trial.

Our facilities are situated 5 minutes from the Congress Centre, which makes us the perfect option for guests who need to attend events there.

We are located next to the communications hub of the Atlantic Motorway; i.e. with very easy access to and from the four capital cities of the region of Galicia. Santiago airport is 6 kms. from the hotel.

A mere 3 kilometres from the city centre, Monte do Gozo Holiday Centre is also an ideal starting point from which to investigate the emblematic Santiago sites: the Cathedral and the Saint’s Tomb, the Plaza Obradoira, the University Rectory, Plaza Quintana, Rua do Vilar and all the historical city centre.
